PLC Engineering Cloud Analysis Workbench

Give Humerus your PLC project.
Get structure, analysis, and AI answers.

Humerus Online Experience is the cloud workspace behind Humerus AI for PLC. Upload a project from your engineering computer with the Humerus Connector, and the platform builds the structure, runs the analysis, and answers your questions — without you handling XML, IR, or model configuration.

Why can the conveyor stop unexpectedly?

AI

The most likely conditions are: 1. Safety interlock, 2. Motor not ready, 3. Fault state. The key logic lives in Network 4 of FB120.

How It Works

From engineering computer to AI insights

A single, continuous flow. The Connector handles the capture, the cloud handles the analysis, and you only ever see projects, progress, and answers.

01

Register / Log in

Create your Humerus account and sign in from the website.

02

Create a Workspace

A dedicated, isolated workspace for your projects, connectors, and team members.

03

Download & Pair Connector

Install Humerus Connector on your engineering computer and pair it with a one-time code.

04

Extract & Upload via Connector

Humerus Connector extracts the necessary data from the specified PLC project and uploads it to Humerus Cloud.

05

Create Analysis Job

The cloud builds an analysis job from the uploaded project automatically.

06

Browser Opens the Workbench

Your browser automatically enters the online analysis workspace.

07

Explore Structure & Results

Browse project structure, follow analysis progress, and inspect results.

Platform Capabilities

Everything the workbench is built on

Workspace

A multi-tenant workspace that owns every project, connector, analysis, and conversation. One login, one isolated engineering context per workspace.

  • - Members
  • - Connectors
  • - PLC Projects
  • - Analyses

Humerus Connector

A thin client on your engineering PC. It authenticates with device credentials and does nothing but capture, package, and upload — no analysis on the client.

  • - One-time 10-min pairing codes
  • - Revocable device credentials
  • - Automated data capture

PLC Projects

Every upload becomes a structured project you can browse: files, PLC structure, blocks, variables, and the analyses that have been run on it.

  • - Upload progress
  • - Project tree
  • - Status tracking

Analysis Pipeline

Upload → AI analysis → report. Each stage is visible in the UI as a job progresses.

  • - Job / task model
  • - Live progress
  • - Failed & retry states

AI Chat

Humerus AI answers questions about the active project with full context — project, analysis, block, and network are included automatically.

  • - Streaming responses
  • - Markdown & code
  • - Citations & references

Analysis Report

Every completed analysis produces an engineering report: executive summary, critical findings, safety concerns, and optimization opportunities.

  • - View report
  • - Download report
  • - PDF export (roadmap)

Built for industrial environments

Security by design

Humerus Online Experience is engineered as industrial software: every pairing, credential, and data path is scoped, validated, and revocable.

  • Pairing codes are one-time, server-validated, and expire after 10 minutes.
  • Connectors authenticate with revocable device credentials, never a username/password.
  • Tokens are never exposed through URL query parameters.
  • Every project, connector, analysis, and file is scoped to a workspace and authorized server-side.
  • Large PLC XML files live in object storage — the database keeps only metadata.
  • Long-running XML analysis runs in background jobs, never blocking a web request.
